Refuse To Be A Victim

Providing Refuse To Be A Victim® seminars for the general public is a very valuable community service. Instructors who plan to conduct seminars on a regular basis for groups, organizations, clubs, law enforcement, schools, or government agencies that qualify for grant funding should encourage the organization to apply. Grants are not issued to individual instructors.

Organizations seeking grant funding apply for financial grants through their state’s NRA Field Representative. For your convenience, the Refuse To Be A Victim® has a pre-approved grant application template with wording you can simply copy.

You will find the grant application deadline, links to all required forms, your NRA Field Representative’s contact information, state fund committee meeting date, and all the necessary information you will need to apply at www.nrafoundation.org/grants/statefund.asp.

Each state has its own requirements, so please read all information carefully before submitting your paperwork. If you have questions about the grant application process, please contact your NRA Field Representative.

Applying for a grant does not mean a grant will be automatically issued. Continue to apply annually, whether or not a grant was received. Apply even if you have received grant funds in past years. Indicate on your grant application that a partial grant will be accepted. Each of these points will contribute to your success in obtaining grants.
