Over the years, many patriotic NRA members have asked for ways they can participate in the defense of their freedoms "above and beyond" the annual membership commitment they make. To answer this call, the NRA created our Second Amendment Task Force.

The Second Amendment Task Force brings together the NRA's most active and loyal grassroots members to focus their energy on protecting and preserving our Second Amendment rights. These individuals are leaders of the NRA's grassroots effort to defend the rights and honor of law-abiding gun owners.  This exclusive group includes less than one percent of active NRA members.

Members of the Second Amendment Task Force play a critical role helping the NRA uncover and refute anti-gun bias in the news media. The Task Force is also an instrumental component of the NRA's gun owner outreach effort to motivate gun owners and freedom-loving Americans to join in the struggle to defend our freedoms.

Task Force membership requires a financial commitment of $120 a year paid in one lump sum, or in four equal installments of $30 over a twelve month period.

With the Task Force's unique role and commitment comes a special set of benefits. Task Force membership also includes a full 12 months of NRA membership and benefits. If you are a current NRA member, your renewal date will be extended 12 months when you join the Second Amendment Task Force.
