Dave began his law enforcement career in 1982 gaining his experience in small arms and tactics while serving as a police officer with both the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C. and the City of Fairfax Police Department in Northern Virginia. While working in Fairfax, Dave served in patrol as both an officer and a Corporal, was a burglary detective for several years and also served as a member of his departments Emergency Services Team, a department firearm instructor/armorer, and as a field training officer. He shot for eight years on the department pistol team where he was a member of the prestigious "Governor's 20" list five years in a row in Virginia, as well as served as a board member and vice-president of the Virginia Police Revolver Association. Dave is a certified handgun/shotgun instructor, tactical handgun instructor, tactical shotgun instructor, patrol rifle instructor, chemical munitions instructor and distraction device instructor. Additionally, he is a certified armorer on most law enforcement semi-auto pistols, shotguns, submachine guns, and rifles. Dave is an active member of International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI), American Society for Law Enforcement Training (ASLET), International Law Enforcement Trainers and Educators Association (ILEETA), National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA), and has been affiliated with the International Association of Credit Card Investigators (IACCI), Special Equipment and Tactics Association (SETA), the Virginia Tactical Association (VTA) and actively writes for the Police Marksman magazine. Mark recently retired as a Sergeant with the Allentown, Pennsylvania Police Department, where he served as the Assistant Director of Training and Chief Range Officer at the Allentown Police Academy (08/2004). He had been a Department Firearms Instructor since 1997 and was assigned the duties of Chief Range Officer in 2002. His duties included all departmental firearms training as well as all training and certifications for the recruits attending their Academy. Over the past 16 years, he had held duty assignments including Patrol Officer, Undercover Narcotics Officer in the Vice Squad, Platoon Sergeant and Training Sergeant at the Academy. He is a certified instructor for the Handgun/Shotgun, Patrol Rifle, Select Fire, Tactical Handgun, Tactical Shotgun, Less Lethal, Chemical Munitions, Distraction Devices, Simmunitions, F.A.T.S. and Edged Weapons. He is recognized by the PA Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) to teach Firearms, Physical Fitness, Mandatory Inservice and general subjects as well as to certify Police recruits in these areas. Mark has trained in the various martial arts over the past 30 years and currently holds a 2nd degree black belt in Okinawan Kempo Karate. He is an active competitor in IDPA shooting as well as being a member of the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearm Instructors (IALEFI) and is a Life Member of the National Rifle Association (NRA). Tim Lose

Tim began his formal firearms training in 1984 when he joined the US Army National Guard. After Cavalry Scout training at Ft. Knox, Kentucky, he later attended the Small Arms Instruction and Range Operations Course and the Master Marksmanship Training Course. He was a member of the Maryland National Guard rifle team for 6 years and the pistol team for 3 years. Other military experience included the Foreign Weapons Familiarization Course at Aberdeen Proving Ground, commanding a Weapon Storage Site Inspection Team while on peacekeeping duty in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Mountain Warfare School, and OPFOR assignments at the Army Special Warfare Training Center in North Carolina and at the Combat Maneuver Training Center in Hohenfels, Germany. Awards included the Excellence in Competition Badge (Bronze) for both rifle and handgun. He retired from the Army in 2005 with 21 years service.

In 1990, Tim became a police officer with the Anne Arundel County (Maryland) Police Department. Tim served in patrol as an officer and a corporal, was a CID detective in the Career Criminal Unit and the Robbery Squad, was a member of the department Quick Response Team, and was assigned to the training academy as a firearms and defensive tactics instructor and armorer. He was instrumental in starting the department’s patrol rifle program. He is a certified handgun instructor, shotgun instructor, patrol rifle instructor, precision rifle instructor, select fire weapons instructor, less lethal weapons instructor, and TASER instructor. Tim is an armorer for Glock and SIG-Sauer handguns, AR15 and M16 rifles, and Remington shotguns. A graduate of the US Secret Service Firearms Instructor Training Course, the BATFE Advanced Explosives Investigative Techniques Course, the FBI Defensive Tactics Instructor course, New Mexico Tech EMRTC Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings course, the Prevention and Response to Suicide Bombing Incidents course, and the DoD Anti-Terrorism Awareness Training Course he also served as a hostage negotiator on the Conflict Negotiation Team for his agency. Tim is an active member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearm Instructor (IALEFI), the Mid Atlantic Regional Gang Investigators Network (MARGIN) and was a state representative to the Eastern Armed Robbery Conference. Tim is a member and an active competitor in the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) and has had articles published in the USPSA magazine, Front Sight. Michael ''Mac'' MacQuilliam

Mac began his law enforcement career in 1981 with the Fairfax County Sheriffs Office after serving four years in the United States Marine Corps, retiring after a distinguished 25-year career at the rank of Lieutenant. Mac spent three of his 20 years as a firearm instructor directly assigned to the Fairfax County Criminal Justice Academy’s Firearm Training Unit, and was directly responsible for writing and supervising his agency’s transition training from revolvers to semiautomatic pistols in 1996. He has been certified as a Defensive Tactics Instructor, Simunition Instructor and Taser Instructor. Mac is also a certified armorer on the Smith and Wesson (revolver), Glock pistol, Sig Sauer pistol, Beretta 92/95 pistol and the Colt AR-15/M-16 rifle. Currently holding certifications as a Handgun/Shotgun, Patrol Rifle and Handgun Instructor with the NRA’s Law Enforcement Division, he is also an active member of the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI), and the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA) and continues to remain active as a reserve deputy with his old agency.
